To be fair helders cricket shrouds get great reviews and the end stage comes off he made the Vulcan by email clipping cm happen with the best of shroud makers

Just 3.5″ longer with same diameter, lighter, and much more stealthy. Makes the .25 sound more like a .22.
OH…..no clipping or degradation of accuracy either when they are made correctly. 😉

To be fair if you want quiet colibri is much quieter as the owner of the Vulcan pictured just found out after receiving his colibri sold both vulcans .22/.25 his edgun and cricket :suprisedn:

In our defense, you can’t find this kind of technical, and human trafficking VAT/price information, on the Yellow.

You just don’t know where to search. Use Google Search.

So three Cows / piece and a Yak isn’t too much to ask then ?
Throw in a couple of Goats and i’ll throw in the Mother as well.

They are some nice lookers, must have taken after their mother……..

Dear “De-”

Ville feels it’s none of our damn business. He told me we are undeserving of this knowledge because we are not of his race (Finnish) and therefore we are “Unpure” in the eyes of his people.

Besides, he’s a jealous, petty, self-serving, little shit who does not want anyone else to have as nice an airgun as he owns. The very same reason he won’t sell his daughters…despite being offered full market price by the more affluent members of this forum. (One of his daughters is REALLY good with a whip!!! The blond one I believe. People here will pay good money for that kind of ‘Service‘)

So please don’t bother him with questions. He’s a very busy man!

Kindest regards,

Uncle Hoot:

I told you cheap Bastard : Three Cows and an old Yak isn’t enough. That may play in Toad Suck, Arkansas but it isn’t enough over here due the import duties. Those friendly Customs officials want 25% of the value. I want three Cows per Daughter and a Yak to sweeten the deal.

Could do although I heard he was sticking withcickets he has a Facebook page bullpup parts it’s called.

Right. I heard that shotgun story today. Maybe i could send him my “spare” barrel ??

It may look great but it’s shot like shit the owner of that Vulcan took it off after testing it once as his groups looked like a shotgun had shot it the lad who makes called em helder 1977 he’s made a fair few diff desighns but only that one Vulcan one I believe which had searious issues which is going to happen when making them with out a Vulcan there to test on

Unfortunately it isn’t mine 🙁
But i’ll have one soon. You can order the shroud (and the LDC) in the length you desire.
He makes them for Crickets as well and a friend of mine has one on his .25 WB . That’s THE quietest full power 25 i’ve ever heard – or nearly not heard 🙂

Who is he?

:hoot:

The only thing I don’t like about that setup is length!

The Vulcan is very short, and a lot of owners would like to retain that feature.

Without venting, or using an eccentric shaped shroud, which in this case would need to be a “squashed O” we lose that compact feature.

Ed’s shroud is a larger diameter with the muzzle exist at the bottom. Due to the picatinny rail extending over the shroud, the Vulcan would need a “bulge” outwards on the sides while keeping it’s original vertical height. No one has that feature yet.

The key to an effective shroud are effective baffles. The key to a silent shroud is adequate air expansion volume, with effective baffles.

If you don’t want to go longer, then you need to go wider. That’s not easily done.
