Crow busting Mutant style…..
Well I’ve been really wanting too nail a crow with my shorty.
Today I had my chance, 65 yards using JSB 16 gr pellets.
The crow was walking, I held in front of him, he walked into my cross hairs bad idea!
He stop I aimed for a high neck shot, put easy pressure on the trigger lights out baby!
This gun shoots very flat nailed him right where I was aiming, hit him in the neck.
He was side ways to me. Crows if you hit them in the wing, its like armor you”ll just brake their wing. The crow is bigger, than my shorty is lol.
The pellet went though his body long ways & exited out, it blew his guts out.
Only one other time that happened using a 25. m-rod bullpup.
I have taken three ground hogs with my shorty also.
Two head shots, the one he just folded right up, no flopping around, one a neck shot.
At ranges of 40, & 50 yards, but could not pick up my prize at that time,
because the hills have eyes. :rofl:

More crow busting again today.
Nailed these three black chickens.
High chest shots, one flew for about 20 feet then fell out of the air. :rofl:
Then a different spot crows up a tree, started picking them off, dropped three more crows.
Went too pick them up their was so much bush, and thorns, I was getting my legs so cut up.
I just left them there.
More field testing on crows again today.
This little puppy is more than a paper puncher!
First crows were feeding on some thing 65 yards out.
Lots of shadows, so I turned on the the green scope reticle.
Aimed on his chest, put easy pressure on the trigger, that’s all she wrote on this crow!
Different setting this time, big ass crow, up in a dead tree,
55 yards out, aimed at his, chest nailed this guy!
He was up side down, holding a the branch still, for a minute! :rofl:
Got this third crow, at 45 yards, chest shot again!
Three shots three black chickens down lol! :rofl:

Hoot I have been thinking about doing just that. A little reshaping might be in order The hard part was getting that Ukraine paint off anyway

That butt stock is BEGGING to be fine tuned. It looks like a damned boat paddle! Don’t just sit there…you can do it, you can do it, you can do it…if Thomas the Train can do it, so can you!
It’s not that hard to make the gun look good. Carve an inlet in that butt stock, and slender it up, so it looks nice and fit.
Just follow the angle of that slope under the pistol grip, go about half way into that flat butt, then gracefully down. I’ve done it with a dremmel and a wood cutting tool. It looked great! It’s not THAT hard…just take your time and round off the edges. A little sand paper and you are home free!

Fox, I don’t like the black stock. I ordered a brown one. I am in the process of refinishing my standard. Stripping the Ukrainian paint was unbelievably hard.

I think I’m staying with the Jsb 16s 4 the shorty.
My gun is shooting hot, the 16 r @ 915-920 fps.
