Review: Napier Power Pull Through

Napier Power Pull Through Kit – POS

DO NOT BUY ❗
PEACE OF SHIT ❗
Napier can keep my $30+ as they will be needing welfare if this is the best they have.
Reasons you ask ❓
1) kit instructions are CONTRADICTORY see the instruction card vs the instructions on the back of the Napier VP90 field patch.
“Napier Instructions for use”card says
“Never use Field Patches for cleaning the inside of the barrel or attach them to the cable loop.”
The kit included “Napier VP90 field patch” has Instruction on back stating “…Instructions
Wipe over all metal parts of gun – use with pull through or jag to protect barrels.”
That is pure IGNORANCE ❗
2) But does it work ❓
Hell No ❗ the ‘T’ handle PULLED APART ON THE FIRST ATTEMPTED USE “!:
Well I did use the correct number of 3 patches for .22 caliber (after-all some of us read ALL the instructions first). I then had to wrap the now oily cable around my hand to pull it through. No shinny lead, just blackened oil.
Actually it just had a real good cleaning a couple days ago with a much better product that cost half as much.
3) why don’t I send it back and get my money back ❓
I paid a lot for this POS as I prefer to buy quality. I don’T keep receipts or packaging as with quality products that is usually a waste of time and space. And, when I have to do a bitching review of a POS I prefer to keep the evidence.
‘T’ handle came apart with little effort on 1st use.

Instruction card VS INCLUDED PRODUCT INSTRUCTIONS.

No screw ❗
The brass thing pushes on over the cable and is not soldered or crimped to hold it on. Oh it was held in place by heat shrink tubing until it was pulled to draw the patches into the breech.

I would crimp it to see if that would hold but I’m STILL PISSED OFF :angrymob:
What with a second tiny pack of patches and shipping the F’N Napier POS COST $40.00 :angrymob:

While at Zonk’s homestead on the other end of the Big Black Swamp he had shown me how to clean it with a great product that cost less than half as much. And that really removed the lead. I am reluctant to mention the name of the good barrel cleaner here in this ANGRY BITCH POST ❗

Hey in the Napier literature they brag that AA only uses Napier products. After this bad experience with Napier, I wouldn’t run out and buy an AA product either ❗

Wow that’s not a good experience at all. Did the screw strip out of its thread or what
