Q:

air venturi higher fill pressure MOD!

so I have come across couple of washers that are basically a drop in to your air venturi fill station that will bring your fill pressure up to about 250 bar I stop mine at 230 bar.

all you do is pull the set screws to the top black threaded piece and throw the washer into the bottom of the yellow valve and then put the black threaded cap back on

(WARNING) please make sure you vent all of the air out first!!! I can post pics on how to do it but all I would ask is that you pay the shipping 😀

red arrow points to the knob you will use to empty you tank before doing anything. after venting remove this from the tank

green arrow points to the black threaded cap, first remove the set screws then unscrews this cap it should only be hand tight. the bellvie washer set should come out with this piece but be careful because this can fall out and if that happens there is 2 ball bearings and a spring that are easily lost.

the blue arrow points to the portion that my washer drops into. literally take the washer and drop it in flat of the yellow portion. when the washer goes in make sure there is nothing inside. then put it all back together and fill your tank

please be sure to watch your gun when filling because this mod may over fill your gun just close the fill knob valve when at desired fill pressure.

The Venturi bleed valve seems to bleed off a lot of air, when you open ot it goes sshhhhhhhhhhhhh,
When I open the new bleed valve on my tank it goes sshh,
Maybe the one on the Venturi comes out slower and longer, Not sure but it always bugged me.
Mike

That is because the air venturi valve (black block) holds a lot of air which means a lot of wasted air when bleeding.

The cheapest way to go is to find a 90/4500 Ninja paintball for cheap on eBay. Then go to Joe B and get his gauge perfect for the backpack

That’s awesome the venturi set up is not very good anyways I will be changing mine out soon also.

I had to buy a whole different gauge set, Cost about 280 bucks,,,,

I screwed something up, nothing would go back together right.
I have five thumbs , Leave it to me to screw something up.
I like the new gauge set up . same as on my great white tank,

Got my two washers in the mail today,
Thanks
Just aired up my Venturi tank to 5000 psi this morning before I checked the mail,,
It says 5000 psi but its only 4500,
I will install the washers when I shoot the air down a little.
Again
Thanks
Mike

Chad

That sounds cool, I got my little tank coming , Looks like it will be here Friday,
With the cooler weather coming I might get out at the Great white gets kind of heavy after a while .
I got a Sheldon compressor so I am doing OK with air..
Like I said I looked around and found some cheaper used tanks , But I did not want a used 4500 PSI tank setting between my legs in the truck,
Mike
