Valve Leak
Hello guys!
I have a .22 vulcan (second one first had problems) and since day one it has leaked air, 40-60 bars over nite from the transfer port. I have disassembled the gun five times trying to fix with no luck. I’ve replaced o- rings on outer reg, added more spring tension on valve spring, inspected delrin valve and seat for burs marks etc, place in lathe to see if it’s was concentric and had perpendicular cut to the valve stem, found nothing out of tolerance, I am puzzled! Dipped in a bath of water with 100 bar or two hundred I get bubbles from the transfer port, not a gushing amount but enough to show there is a leak. Because of it I don’t like to just waste air I don have more than 120 rounds in it, I just shoot my Edgun instead, but I look at wondering what to do, it’s from Peter, Evgeny responded this is unusual to his knowledge. One thought is that I have the wrong valve spring in mine, my only reason for this though is I would only get about 35-40 shots per fill 230 bar down to 120 plus/minus? Help Appreciated, thanks
