Q:

Power Dial issues.

Good day,

I have racked my head against the wall until my hair has began to fall out over this – hoping one of you guys have seen or maybe another idea I haven’t thought about.

Condor with TT shroud, vented front barrel ring, and slap hammer, 2000 psi in the tank.

Dial setting 0 (as far down it would go) JSB 25.39 grain – speed 1050s maybe 5 fps sd over 10 shots. About 150# air drop.
Dial setting 12 (as far up as it would go) JSB 25.39 grain – speed 1050s maybe 5 fps sd over 10 shots. About 150# air drop

Charge to 2500#
Around 1100 fps on both at highest and lowest.

Shift back to factor hammer:
Seeing about the same as with TTSH.

Tried 43 grain pellets – 908 fps.

Now the interesting part….
Swap tanks 2400# factory hammer. 900 fps with 25.39 grain and 853 with 43 grain… dial setting have no influence.

Ugg…

Thanks for any help,

Kendall

Ok further testing reveals:

Charged up to 3100sh# and started shooting.

It appears that Anything under 2800 psi dial doesn’t work due to it pushing minimum pressure.

Thanks!!!

Now to figure out why the dial doesn’t work…..

good detective work bubbles. :biggrinn:

Figured out the tank issue… two different top hats (second tank is a resticted flow for the shorter barrel). :/

Oh and maybe should mention. Power dial is almost impossible to turn after about 7. This is with the forearm removed.
