Q:

vulcan .22 problem!!

Gun has been shooting great. Then two days ago the accuracy has went to shit got pellets shooing all over the place!! I’ll shoot high then low haven’t had a chance to chrony. But I took the panel off that covers the hammer spring and noticed that the hammer spring is all curved not straight at all. when the gun is uncocked I can straighten it out but after 2 or 3 shots it’s all f’ed up again. Here’s a picture

No it’s all good Ernest this post was from before I sent you the gun back. The delrine is holding up strong put 1000-1500 through it already still looks solid.

Frank? Your spring look like that when the brass retainer broke, so look like the Delrin broke also, remove HSTA and spring and look at the Delrin if the spring guide broke ???

From what i can see it looks like grease around the spring. If there is any grease in that whole cavity my recommendation is you unscrew hammer spring adjustment screw take spring out and clean it off and same goes for hammer. Hammer and surrounding are needs to be squeeky clean. No lube nothing. Just dry

I never thought the word PROBLEM would be attached to a VULCAN… :confusedn:

Frank, PM Ernest I’m sure he’ll be happy to check it out for you being he did the work.

Is that a combination of greasse and foam :?/
