Q:

HST Questions?

Is one HST any better than the other? Of the ones available which is more user friendly? What unit do you have, and why?

I have a 25 Cricket and it shoots 945fps. Accuracy it good, I would like to tone it down a bit, 910-920 fps.

I’ve got one from Ernest, easy to use and don’t need any tools to adjust.

Just a dab of blue locktite and it stays put.

Thank you very much.

I know that you’re familiar with Imppu HST, I’ve see your post replies on his thread about his HST.

My HST collection: 2 Ernests, Topguns, OEM in the bag and 2 Imppu HST v.3 with degasser next to the receiver on both of my Crickets.

The Imppu HST v.3 with degasser is the best, it comes with a degasser and it has a lock to prevent it from detuning and is available at AoA.
It also can be set a bit lower than the OEM.
If you are currently all the way-out with the OEM HST at 945 fps, I would suggest a weaker and or shorter hammer spring to get down to 910 fps.

The next best is the one from Topgun no degasser and no lock but it can be blue Loctited.

The ones from Ernest are good if you’re running out of hammer spring and need more of, but are know to back out.
