Micrometer tank
Just received my talon ss , built by Tony , I have a question regarding a micrometer tank . looking for input from those that have them . will be shooting indoors this winter and would like to hear from those who have both regular and micrometer tanks if that will help with raising shot count and lower velocity for indoor target shooting .

I never took it apart. I believe it is just a very restricted setup. The tophat assembly looks like the standard tophat.
Does anyone have a picture of the micrometer valve? I am really wanting to try indoor shooting with my Talon come this winter?

I have been doing exactly the same for few years. Indoor winter 10m target practice and few matches.
The micrometer tank works really well for the purpose.
I shoot .22 and still get shot count in the 200s. Can stretch it to 300 if I don’t mind a little POI drop.
I consider it a very good deal. Would definitely recommended.
The alternative is a regulator. This will also allow you consistent and high number of shots.
I know that a few here use the Talon Tunes top hat with the maximum restriction fr some of these applications.
Maybe somebody will get you some numbers with that.
The micrometer valve was specifically designed for indoor applications, so it is a good choice if you mean to do that.
Oh, I use a 24″ barrel on that target rifle and it really does a great job with the micrometer tank.
