Edgun Veles Shot Strings and Groups
I spent some time with the Veles over the past few days. I have a Burris Fastfire 3 red dot on it with a UTG Picatinny adapter. This is very small and seems like an ideal red dot for this pistol.
My gun is the .177 short version. I’ve only been shooting JSB 8.4’s so far and the accuracy is excellent and VERY backyard friendly. Trigger is OK. It does not appear to be easily adjustable.
Here is the first 5 shot group at 25 yards after sighting in:
Here is a shot string from a 240 bar fill as the pistol was deliverd:
I played around with the HST which BTW is very sensitive. There is a set screw lock for the HST adjuster. It seemed like the most consistent overall string was for this regulator setting is with the HST backed out just a bit for about 760 fps. Any hotter and the shot string is a slow steady decent. And slower and there is a peak as it comes off the regulator. Here is a look at that shot string and the group for that shot string. Looks like about 20 shots at 11 FPE is about it.

That is off a rest. I wish I was that steady.
