Q:

Two 100 Yard Groups

Shot about 12 groups at a 100 yards today, the best two groups are in the video. Very little wind. I was expecting better groups. This was my first time shooting 100 yard groups with a pellet gun.

No idea I officially retired after that group !! Joking , It’ll shoot both JSB under an inch …The Grizzlies do some spooky shit at times . But seem easily affected by wind

That’s some mighty good shooting. Question is how often can it be repeated

http://www.myeasypics.com/is.php?i=1177305&img=joegroup.jpg. Shot this group this weekend with Ernest Rowe tuned 25. It was dead still and 75°, I couldn’t believe it when I walked downrange . Gun routinely shoots sub 1 inch groups when I do my part .

That’s pretty much it. If you shoot mostly 20-50 yards don’t expect your 100 yards groups to be fantastic

My opinion.

I didn’t watch the entire video, but if that was your first time shooting 100 yards, I would say its not bad. I was shooting 40, 90 and 115 yards today. I can stack pellets at 40 yards with my Ernest tuned .25 bullpup, but it took some time to learn my rifle and understand how to set it, hold it, sight it and pull the trigger. For example, today was breezy (10 – 12 mph, right rear quartering), drizzle and 70 degrees, and I was knocking pieces of broken ceramic floor tile off a fence post at 90 yards, even when pieces were on their sides (about a 1/4 in target). Ernest tuned mine in March and I have not cleaned it yet, and I weigh my pellets. My gun likes the JSBs that weigh 25.5 gr, between 230 and 170 bar. My point and opinion is, learn to shoot at that distance and be consistent with everything you do when shooting.
