Q:

Old/new price EDgun.

Hi, guys,

I am back home at last and would like to return to that issue with the price. I have to confess that I was wrong. I gave all the responsibility to Tony. He is now just one among other dealers and I don’t dictate him the price level he should sell guns based on. But the time some of you’ve sent him deposits he was following my instructions about the price thus I am responsible for that. And if you’ve sent him deposits based on the announced price – it should stay the same level, no matter if it costs me money.
I was wrong in ignoring that fact, I apologize for that and hope you will understand.

So, Tony rise the price for USD 100. Those who has sent him deposits for the old price and got the guns for the new price apply to Tony for return USD 100 to you. I would also appreciate if you put me in the copy of your mail to Tony. My address is ed(at)edgun.ru I would like to follow it.
Hope you will enjoy your EDguns and do hope will enjoy them in the future. From my side I will do my best to give you new models or improved ones to meet all (or almost all) of your wishes.

With the best regards

Ed

There has been a lot of discussion here concerning the price. I want to thank Ed for doing the right thing concerning the price quoted upfront and then the final selling price. I have received a refund from Tony for $100.00 and I thank him as well for his prompt service in refunding the $100.00. – Now get out there boys and shoot those fine guns!

I got $100 check from Tony. Thank you, Ed.

So, when is the R4M due out?

Hey Ed,
are you (by chance) working on a new bull pup design? If so, how about dropping a clue or two?
thanks,
Darryl

From a message I received from Ed it seems he has redesigned the Matador and the new design is ready now. One of the improvements is a fill port cover.

I don’t know if it’s the right thread to post this but I will anyway, a couple days ago for some reason the main spring shaf from my .30 cal broke, I called Tony to see what we can do to fix it,he told me he had the part and he sent it the next day, with Tracking number and everything ……how much? ……nothing…..cero……nada….that’s an outstanding customer service, Thanks Tony!!!!!

At Edgun they have a steep learning curve but apparently finally they are learning :thumb:

And now please Ed work on a better trigger

Ok Pip thanks for clearing that up. No problem. i am not Ed’s spokesman. I don’t deal with Ed, his guns are accurate and reliable. I deal with Tony and he has been good to me. What more can I say.

Hi Keyser,

I’m not attacking you either and even less I’m implying you made money with the sales whatsoever.

What I see is that it seems that you want to please Ed more than our fellow forum mates in every occasion.

It doesn’t matter what’s happening you straight have a good word and justification for Ed, it almost seems you are Ed’s spokesperson.

Sorry if this is my impression but it is given by the way you post about Edguns.

Me too I’ve been accused to post negatively just to attack Ed or to work for whatever competing company so please don’t feel offended or attacked.

I also told you that I like your shooting reviews very much but please stay unbiased in order not to loose this valuable source of information.

With my Very Best Regards! (I mean it really :thumb: )

Pippo are you implying I made money from EDguns sales? Yes, pip I do want you to post about problems here. Somehow you always take it like I am personally attacking you if I post a positive experience with an EDgun. I have posted positive things about Vulcan was well. Some of the Vulcan owners have had issues with post sale parts and repair. If I recommend a vulcan am I personally attacking owners who have had post sale issues? Tony Rudenko had always done right by me. When I am treated like a valued customer I want to give the guy a positive rating. I am not attacking you pip.

… My Lelya is the coolest gun and she is a laser beam…

Yes and as already said, I confirm that also my Lelya was a laser beam, extremely accurate, starting from the fifth shot.

This was probably thanks to the “Made in Germany” LW Match barrel 😀

And for Ed, please notice what Keyser is saying already for the second time, he has 4 edguns and has sold at least 10 others….

And for all those that could save 100 USD to spend probably on quality pellets thanks to positive critic of members of the forum (Ridetoeat actually 200 USD), Happy Shooting!

With my Best Regards.

quote keyser soze:

…I know the Lelya took a long time to get here but that is not because Ed was using your deposit for vacation. Rather than put a cheap barrel in the gun he waited to do it right. Better to be late than wrong. My Lelya is the coolest gun and she is a laser beam. So regardless what any one else thinks my experience has been positive.

Hi Keyser,

happy to know your experience has been positive and according what you say it shouldn’t be otherwise.

You got a malfunctioning gun replaced straightaway where others (like Machine Gun for example) had to make a several months long fuss. Others have waited for almost one year for a replacement part of a completely new gun and others have never been taken into consideration.

So you see, everybody is speaking from its own experience.

And regarding the “justified” delay of delivery of the Lelya, those are only wishful thinking assumptions just to try to justify an extremely poor business practice, like the hold-up of the Lelya price increase for example. (Also Ed himself has classified this as an mistake, only people like you still try to defend this practice and try to make this appear as right where the responsible has already apologized for this but as I already said an unbiased opinion is always good)

But it’s good that everybody has its own experiences and as long as the reported facts are true they are only a benefit for the community.

Did you hear me criticize the fact that the Lelya’s breech is popping open when shooting? Well I think that today this has been widely proven and the good thing is that apparently today Ed has modified his design so this REAL EXISTING problem can get solved.

Probably he has improved his design also depending on the UNBIASED NEGATIVE but CONSTRUCTIVE feedback he has received.

This constructive feedback has helped Ed to evolve (IMHO) not the arguments to fool people trying to justify a hold-up price increase.
(At this point probably good old Machine Gun would say “Ass kissing is not a good practice to push evolution but constructive critic is 😀 “.

Do you want me still to speak about the R3M miscarriage and the extremely poor business practices that came along?

With my Best Regards.
