Q:

Fall Gathering Of Starlings

Anyone else noticed a big pick up in the flocking birds as fall has begun? I am going through a lot of pellets and air right now. Luckily, I am still using the Baby Cricket with .177 10.34s art 900 FPS. :4:

I saw someones farm that had hundreds of them besides the pigeons on youtube. I can’t compete with that. 😯

The leaves are starting to change here. Took a 2 hour lunch ride on the V-Strom today in foothills of the Ozarks where I live.

How about a friendly competition on who can take the most starlings in a one week period? I suggest that we start Sunday October 11th and end Saturday October 17th. Who ever takes the most starlings with an airgun wins. I pledge a send a small gift to the winner. Anyone want to join the competition or pledge a gift? Now is the time to jump in.

I find they love small game blocks. Not sure why. They are held together with Molasses.

Yes at first but now my yard is empty… those birds talk to much with each other. LOL

Cool. My front yard is covered with starlings everyday now. I like to get them in the back. :4:

just yesterday, couple hundred in and out and managed to get three with .177 scorpion se.

A little tough to spot them in the photos.

Lol….I bet it’s nice to watch those fox. All the starlings must have flown west because there’s none here.

I had nearly 10,000 JSB 10.34s early last year in mypellet inventory and thought that might last a long time. I will be replenishing the supply by the EOY at this rate. I have a family of red fox that constantly cleans my yard up and they are getting fat. 😆
