Q:

Sig Sauer PCP??

Wtf?? .25 cal PCP as well. Accuracy and trigger quality is questionable but the concept is very interesting. Not sure if it’s a good idea to tote this around your backyard considering it’s almost identical to the real thing.

So a large capacity magazine fed PCP is possible. They just need to get it looking like this.

DTA SRS-A1 Covert (bottom)

Just make it semi-auto forward cocking lever. Similar concept as the FX Impact with interchangeable barrels but maybe without the bottle but instead with a hot swap airtube like the Steyr.

They could have used the air to push back the hammer and when hammer is pulling back it would have indexed the magazine and /or pulled the probe back as well. Steyr, FX and Umarex have that sorted out already. Crosman got the hammer part but missed the magazine operation. Two principles are used, either use the airblast from barrel end to operate a piston that pushes things back or have a bleed after firing valve that does the same thing. It’s not rocket science but a bit over ambiguous for toy class weapons.

They never showed from Sig last I heard. Looks like they may have hit technical difficulties. 🙄

They have the PcP version available now?
I heard that the fire control mechanism was just simply a trigger mechanically operated double action type advance very similiar to an old school Die Cast Zinc Roy Rodgers Cap guns like the ones we would get as kids that shot those rolls of paper caps.
For the price point I wouldnt expect too much.
It seems that if they can make a whole plethora of gas blow back reproduction airsoft guns that have great full auto shot count and are refilled with “green gas” (butane/propane or whatever it is…. I believe it doesnt combust or utilize combustion?) Why cant someone borrow from the design to produce some kick butt automatic pellet guns on hpa?
They are starting to adapt a few replica steel bb guns. How about some full auto gas blowback pellet guns?
That Sig Suaer would be very cool in selective fire.
As for now it appears to be nothing more than a mockup or a novelty and not a real serious air operated arm. Otherwise i think we would be hearing alot more about it.
