Q:

EDGUN OFFSET MODERATOR

Edgun offset moderator, how good is it?
What we can read here on this forum, people love it on the air gusher 30, very impressed 30 cal owners.
What about the 25 and 22 cal? I’m really excited to see how quiet a R3M 22 standard can be. It sure would be nice to get some feedback on this.

Are there any tests? I am interedted in the difference in dBs for Matador 6.35 standard.

Actually when you divide by 2 Larry you get half. I want all the information not half the information. And guess what Larry I don’t want to make any assumptions and have to fill in the blank or write the story because I don’t have all the information to write the story. This way Larry I am not on the board disappointed and calling for EDS HEAD when I assume this Moderator will be the next coming of the mouse fart. I live in the alternate Universe of the Here and Now. Tis where I live assumption free as possible.

Cheers

Has Tony got a list for the moderators? Oakey, as with most things in life, if you divide by 2 you will be closer to the truth! I am not sure which alternate universe you spend most of your waking hours in but Hillary is pulling for ya.

I have one and poster pictures of it on the other thread. Not been able to fit yet as having trouble getting the one on my .22 off.

It would be nice to have some real world information on these moderators.

Thanks for the information guys, I put in a order for one with Tony, so we’ll see what their like when he gets them.
Thanks again for your nice Demo, Doug

All I can base the moderator on is from the R3 .30 caliber. It is more quiet than the R3 ,22 shooting 905 FPS. So when an air rifle shooting 80 foot pounds is that quiet all I can say is I hope Ed’s aftermarket offset works as well.

My new Lelya 22 is only a tiny bit quieter than my original lelya 22 but it does have a very slightly higher pitch to it, very subtle difference. The 25 Lelya is not much louder than the 22, maybe 10% if that. It is my opinion only, that the bigger volume moderator does not come into play until larger than .22 cal and if the .25’s had the old ones they would be much louder for sure. My .30 std. Matador compared to the 25 Matador long was mostly just higher pitch and maybe even considered quieter. Just a bunch of words but maybe they will mean something to someone.

EDIT: Here is a short video of each gun firing, one behind the other. I know they all sound similar but they really do here in real life. Here is the guns cocked and ready preceding the video.

Link to video below…

Maybe You can call ED on his private line and ask him to send them……. The Leyla and the .30 are the only ones right now in the USA
