Frame polishing – sorted
Hi all,
I’d like to polish the inside of my CSS frame where the hammer travels. I’ve finally got all the bits required and I’ve stripped the gun which has given rise to my question. In order to get unobstructed access to the full path of the hammer is it necessary to dismantle the trigger assembly or is there some neat trick to getting the catch at the bottom of the frame to stay down?

Really diassembled is the way I would do… Otherwise you are going to introduce all kinds of junk into the trigger group.
You would just end up taking it apart anyways to clean it up.

I would say you HAVE to remove all the trigger guts otherwise you are going to have grit in your trigger. Also I am sure the hone won’t clear the sear and other levers.
