Taipan shorty .177 Conversion???
Would like to add to my collection. I’m looking at 3 shorties, Wildcat .177, Cricket Compact .177 or Taipan Mutant .22 (conversion to .177).
I’m interested in the Taipan Short because of its size, 22″. Wondering if it can be converted to magazine load, .177. In theory, swap breech and barrel, simple enough right? Anybody out can make this happen? If not, guess I’ll go back to square one and look at the other two.
USE: Shoot around the house without making lots of noise.
p.s. please don’t turn this into a chevy vs ford thread. 😀

The manufacture Does make a .177 …..
have you asked any of the dealers? email Wild west airguns and let them know you would like a .177 shorty
Now if you don’t want to wait…. its not that hard to do. but you would have to email the manufacture and ask for some .177 mags
