Molecular Sieve filtration?
Who is using what on there compressors?
I have seen a few folks with what I guess are Molecular Sieves apparatuses. So I looked up a couple from couple known AG selling sources.

There is a big difference in price not sure pros and/or cons to each other.
Heres the difference…..
Joes set up has a back pressure valve that keeps the air at a certain pressure… (think dwell time here) not sure if joes uses a cartridge or not???
the diablo does not use a cartridge and from what i understand the desicant is loose inside.. from what I’m told that is not good.
the desiccant does not react well against the metal. i believe it will corrode. That is why all scuba compressors use cartridges . it provides a barrier.

Most importantly SAFETY. NEVER make a high pressure filter where the filter material directly touches the cylinder walls of a high pressure filter. This is filter element 101. The moisture in filter media leaches acid, and hence must not come in direct contact with the filter tube. Acid that leaches out will eventually make it to the threads on the end-caps of the filter, weakening them, and eventually causing the high possibility of catastrophic failure. This point can’t be stressed enough
