22 caliber and fps differences
For 18.13 grain JSB’s:
900 fps = 32.62 ft lbs
915 = 33.71 ft lbs
930 = 34.83 ft lbs
I’m not sure how any of this relates to real world. In other words, is the 2 lbs difference between 900 and 930 going to make a difference with accuracy at 100 yards?
Will the resulting ft lbs at the target be sufficient to kill what the pellet kits – provided shot placement is the same for all 3 fps?
Will 2 lbs make a difference in scope adjustment (holdover, etc) at 100 yards?
I would think that 900 has got to conserve a little air over 930 and 930 would cause more wear and tear on the gun to slam the hammer harder against the valve, etc.
Is the extra 30 fps worth it?
