How did you stretch the shroud enough to fit the longer air cylinder? Wouldn’t the resultant lateral stress on the barrel make the caliber smaller???? This would definitely cause feeding problems. Did you simply go down a caliber????

The shroud is a new carbon fibre one it is approximately 4″ longer, the barrel is the original .25

The extension was made by a very clever friend of mine on his cnc lathe, it is sealed with a oring just the same as the tube itself , the finish is black anodising
…what about to use air tube from cricket cal.25 ??? 😀 its longer than standard vulcan airtube. I think just use tube fill cup and valve gauge is threaded. Just screw in together ??
Based on your latest pict showing the finished surface texture, looks like you cut the stock air tube, threaded the cut ends, and interposed a length of tubing.
How did you get the threaded ends to seal? Is silicone grease in the threads enough to avoid a slow leak?
Maybe liquid thread seal.
Looks nicely done. Did you have it hydro-tested before putting it into use?
