Maintenance Questions In Video Form
Hi guys very much need to do some maintenance on my TalonSS .22 cal. bought back in the year 2000′. The rifle has been shooting pretty good but is a little noisy but mostly from the hammer strike. Since the rifle is so old there are some differences to deal with. I plan to swab out the interior frame with some brake cleaner and polished up the barrel breech end where the breech slides. Any ideas you guys have for what lubricants to use where if any would be appreciated. Thanks Bill

Well for those that watched the video and my questions. I was able to remove the bolt sleeve screw handle by jambing two nuts and a lock washer together and backing it out. There was a learning curve to taking apart and putting back together the barrel assembly. Of course this is old hat to all you experts. I was surprised at the lower quality of some of the plastic parts. The bolt now takes more effort to slide and that is with some silicone applied. I guess that is the tightness of the new breech O rings. Now to go out tomorrow and check zero and fps. Maybe a shot string at some time to see if I am getting the same or more shots per fill. Bill
