BFPU Cricket
Some folks might recognize the abbreviation, for those who don’t – it stands for Battle Field Pick Up. Meaning, a gun with signs of wear and usage, patina and character.
Some real BFPU guns carry good value. Some people like the look so much that they artificially age their brand new guns to make them look like old, well used ones. Some just paint theirs to look like BFPU guns. This trend has place in other areas, for example guitar aging or relicing.
The look is not everyone’s cup of tea, but that’s not the point here.
I was wondering if anyone has seen one or had a picture… or perhaps even had made their Cricket Bullpup look like an old used and scraped BFPU or post apocalyptic gun.

i don’t think you’ll find too many here.
taking a high end gun, thats costs $1200- $1500 and make it look as if it has signs of wear and usage.
most want their guns looking as near prefect, most of the signs of wear and usage,
will bring a loss to a high end pcp airgun. 😯

As I said, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. I’m not expecting this look/style to win a popularity contest, I don’t really want to get into that though. “That” being subjective negative opinions.
As you said, most people want their stuff to stay prefect. Plus majority of people have their opinions on what things should look like and feel theirs the only right one. Those who love their bullpups should be familiar with the “I am not a fan of bullpups, I think a rifle should be a rifle” or something along those lines rhetoric.
We like something because we like something, not because someone else thinks we should like it. Or at least I hope we do.
