Q:

told my wife I wanted a pellet rifle to do some predator hun

You have to love a woman that tries to make you happy even if she doesn’t have a clue of what she is buying or what I am really looking to buy.

I got this Springer in the mail the other day with a couple boxes of pellets.
Ruger Impact in .22 cal with 4×32 scope. I added the laser.

now, I am not an expert on pellet rifles and I have never shot a springer, so I was really taken by surprise when the first shot hit the bullseye with a scope that I just threw on it and I know it was never bore sighted. but then the next ten shoots went south really quick. I would say conservative a 10 inch group @30 yards.

So I shot another 5 or 6 and it started to shrink. And this evening I shot 5 more shots that shrank to 3 inches. When my wife called me from work, I told how the rifle was shooting and that the the groups are starting to shrink. She said yep, 50 to 100 pellets is the break in period before it really starts to shoot. she said she researched that rifle before she bought it.
lol, damn I love that woman.

I have had time to shoot the little gun, seems very accurate with the cheap stuff. Still waiting to put an order together for some good stuff. All groups shot from 15 yards. Everything shoots high.

Dude a 1377 is awesome! I have built the hell out of mine. Check out crosmanairpistolownersforum.com

I just put a dot sight on mine and was shooting it today. So fun. I have a shoulder stock, 14 inch barrel, flat top piston and valve, fiber optic front sight barrel band with ss crospin, and blah blah blah tons more stuff on it. Love that little gun.

1377 is a shit ton of fun. Take care of your little woman. You got 2 new shooters! Congrats.

booneez , count yourself lucky , like you I also have a little women that loves me so much that she will do anything to please me . Like yeagger said
a woman who is willing to give you all , you in turn if you really love her should do the same . As for me my little love for the past 24 years wanted
a new SUV for Christmas since hers was 12 years old . So I paid cash and got her the SUV that she wanted for Christmas , nothing in the world could
have made me feel so good as seeing the smile on her face Christmas morning when she opened up the tiny little box with the keys to her new SUV
that I had delivered in our drive way at night so that she didn’t know it was there .

Play but spend just as much money on her as you o on your toys.

update on my wife, she had her mother buy me a crosman 1377 for Christmas. lol, I had no idea so much can be do everything to such a cheap gun. Guess I am going to have to do a few mods and keep that little pistol in my back pack while I am bow hunting.

Very good wife you have. Mine just turn’s a blind eye, until that is I overdraw my own checking account! 😳

I have two shops, woodworking and metal, lathe/mill combo, wire welder, 6×48 belt sander with 9″ disc, 8″ Baldor grinder, 6″ twin arbour polisher, 30 Gallon compressor, Powder coating setup, 1 ton arbour press and sand blaster. Woodworking is not so complete. Portable 10″ table saw, 12″ sliding double bevel compound mitre saw, skill saw, two routers, one under a router table. Need a planer/edger, larger professional table saw, upright bandsaw, and a horizontal bandsaw for metal. Wife has never blinked an eye….

Oh, did I mention she has me retired at age 51? 😉

Dude thats cool she tried!

I never had a good wife either until the X wife decided she could do better then being married to me, lol. 2 years later I met my wife now, Miranda. As far as I am concerned, she is the first wife I have been married to, the other one was a POS.

Ya gotta love a good wife like that.
Ask her to help break it in. If your luck holds you might get her addicted. Having done some research she is halfway there.
I never had a break barrel nor a good wife. But others on the forum no doubt can answer any qustions you have.
Have fun with our new rifle and take good care of that good wife.
