Arrow barrel?
All this talk about the FX guns shooting arrows and now Crosman coming out with the Airbow got me thinking again. Is there anyone who makes a arrow barrel for the condor anymore? I saw where someone used to but I don’t know if they still do.

Thanks Rob, I’m going to hang back and see how it goes with this Airbow first.
Noticed on their web site they are encouraging people to contact their Fish and Game reps to ask to be able to hunt with it during archery season, but I believe they would do better trying to get an allowance for deer in with muzzle loading seasons. I think the archery crowd would be quick to cry foul as it is quite an advantage over conventional archery.
I have had a couple calls about my AirArcher kit I brought to the Hickory show. If you do start making them again, I can redirect folks your way.
It will be interesting if the laws will change because of Crosman. I know here in NY the airgun must be .17 cal or larger and shoot a pellet at least 600fps. So right now with that the Airbow would not be legal.
Those are some great numbers from the ones you made. That would be a better way of going than the Crosman Airbow.
Good to see the air propelled archery becoming more popular. I really like the legal to hunt map that Crosman posted. http://www.crosman.com/airbow Not sure if Big bore airguns allowances translates to Air Archery equipment but with the right lobbying by a large company like Crosman it would be a short jump to get it there.
If this keeps gaining in popularity and Game laws are clarified to include pneumatic archery I may have to bring the AirArcher kits back. The Airforce platform will definitely get it done. I could get 10 shots over 400fps with a standard tank and 4 shots over 400fps with a 13ci like on the TalonP. My Souped up .25 valve Doug made will send arrows over 500fps. Arrows with air are a lot of fun, but they do make some noise and the faster you shoot them the louder they are.

agree…and by definition, it ‘is’ a muzzle loader, just fits over the top of the muzzle as opposed to in it.
