Q:

Jeweling the a valve

How do you do it? I have one that got a little “chewed up” upon removal a few years ago and I’d like to make it a little “prettier”.

I see some of them that look like they’ve been “jeweled” like a firearms bolt might be. How is that done?

????? NitroRunner?????

How did you polish that???? That is awesome! I’d be happy with that by itself!

With an engine turning kit, drill press and lots of patience.

Smooth and polish the area to be jeweled, then make lots of small swirly’s with the small brush in the drill press.
I recommend practicing on a piece of aluminum flat stock first.

Steel bristled dremel brushes w/o-rings over the bristles to keep them tightly bunched.

Here’s the polish I put on my valve, I may still jewel it but I need to put it back together sometime this century!
