Hoots shroud mod.
Considering adding the vent holes :hoot: had posted. Hoping one of you would be knowledgeable and bored enough to point me in the direction of the best end result so far..say bit size..or a link if anything was improved from the seemingly doable offering Hoot: posted.

Any .25 is loud with an OEM shroud alone, or vented. You can relieve air pressure with venting, but that alone will not make the gun “quiet”.
A neighbor friendly .25 Edgun is possible with adequate venting, just don’t use large holes, because then you get an exhaust noise from the hole!
An ldc is a must if you want really silent!. Check in with either Neil Clague or Donny Du. John Hagan (Hagantool@aol.com) makes an adapter that fits into the OEM shroud. This is the route I’d recommend, with venting. The gun can be made very quiet…just don’t go nuts on the HST, keep your velocity within reasonable limits. If you max out the power, you are going to get noise that is tougher to tame.
