If there are shadow effects in the graphic, I’d eliminate them in favor of clean, sharp lines.
Nice mix of metric and US/Imperial customary units (mm and inches)! Egalitarian.
I should call you eagle eye, I went back in and did have shadowing turned on, so I went back in and removed it, PDF available by email will post corrected target within the next 15 mins. Oh funny how we measure things, from what i’ve see groupings alway mentioned in inches, pellet size in mm, and someone made a special request the bullseye be a certain measurement in mm. We aim to please.
Is there a “drop-shadow” on the upper part of the targets’ grey circles? They look kind of fuzzy. Is anyone else seeing this?

That works well too. In fact – it doesn’t matter as long we have a ruling that’s the same for everyone AND a weather that allows this excessively handsome Finn to get out and shoot some. As is i’m just working on guns and drinking Beer 🙂
Some people prefer a different poi from poa because it makes it easier to aim after a couple of shots, I might follow spinj on having duct tape behind the target and after finishing my groups simply remove the target and measure the holes in the duct tape, the tape does not tear like the paper does
Two ways to score one addition and one subtraction: Addition: target one would be worth a total of 25 points because we are shooting 5 shot groups. The Bull is just a point of aim and is not worth anything special. Anything inside or touching the inner ring (.5 inches size) is 5 points, anything touching the or inside the outer ring (1 inches size) 4 points, anything touching or inside the box 3 points, and outside the box 0 points. 5 shots inside or touching the inner ring would score you 25 points for block 1, So for all 10 blocks you would have a total possible score of 250 points. The Subtraction method. You start with 25 points per block and every hit inside or touching the inner ring you subtract 0, 5 hits would score you 25-0=25, every hit inside or touching the outer ring you subtract 1, 5 hits in this area would score you 25-5=20,and every hit inside or touching the edge of the box you subtract 2, 25-10=15, everything outside of the box is minus 5, 25-25=0, then you just add up the total for each block and you score would be something like 238/250 ( 238 out of a possible 250). I’m sure you get the point. When i say inside or touching a ring you HAVE to break the line, if part of the line is still there it would be considered outside the line (inner diameter portion of the line). I picked the 50 meter target for the example that is where is got the sizing for the inner, and out ring sizes. Both scoring methods come out with the exact same score just different ways of looking at it 5,4,3 and 0,1,2.
A good question ! My BR targets are that special target cardboard so they don’t tear.
I’m pretty sure you need to glue the paper on or it vill tear.
What is the best way for the paper not to tear, can you take a piece of cardboard from a box of cerial and put some duct tape on it and then place the target over that, will that make the holes more pronounced?
Once I get the pdf’s I will print it out and have a look / measure
OR we who happen to have the modern measurements shoot at 45.7 m (50 yards) and 22.8 m . For me it doesn´t matter which .. :4:
Great targets for TAG Fuxer Champs !!
My way of scoring would be : 1 Point for Bullseye, 2 for a hit inside the inner ring (a hit as long as the line is touched-as usual) and 3 Points for the outer ring. A miss is 5 Points.
Needless to say the less Points you have the better.
Cricket: targets sent out.
Iride: There was some talk about punching some paper and posting the results in one of the TAG pages. Then suggestion was raised about what some would like to see in a target so i had some time and created 3 targets to add to your collection. I can still edit my template if there is something one would like to add or change. I’m sure once someone post a target shot up with what there rifle and they can do it will take off. But right now there is weather all over the place reducing ones desire to get out and shoot. I posted the file, but downloading that to scale might be an issue so i will email the file out as well if one request.
Man, I really like this! Just PM’d you my email. If they are acceptable for both 50 yards and meters then we must make shure to wright out what distance we used since 50m is somewhere around 55y
Once I get the pdf’s I will print it out and have a look / measure
Are you guys trying to put a group shoot out together ? Every one has the same target and at the same range ,
Is this what the plans are?
If it is I do not care if I shoot a 10 inch group be cool to shoot you guys,
I will get my Crossman 760 out to make it fair to you.

Thanks man! Just sent a pm requesting the .pdf>e-mail. Looks great. I’ll print some out, double-check the measures (per my devices) and shoot when the snow finally melts. We just got 18-24 inches, it’s 13 degrees and my body is shot from two days with a snowblower-can’t hold a coffee cup steady.
