Ordered Monday and dropped off by UPS today, will put through its pace this weekend and update, high level of metalwork finish just like its smaller sister, other than opening the box i have not had to check it out in detail

who knows how to take the tactics shroud apart, it is long but not quiet. there are no 2 screws in the barrel bushing on the barrel thread bit.
is it glued in or what?

I’ve only come across one seller for the Tactic in the U.S. Topgun Airguns.
I got one on the way as well Ginuwine. From a different dealer it sounds like though. I’m glad your getting the works done on yours as far as the shroud mods so we can compare. Might be something I’ll want to do in the future. So where do I get the picatinny rail that slides into the hidden adapter on the stock underside? Any links or pictures?

Just wanted to share (couldn’t wait) that i did order the Vulcan Tactic in .25 cal yesterday, sadly to report i will not have it in my hands for another 2 weeks because i’m stuck overseas. I will own an Impact one day (MKII LOL). But for now i’m the proud owner of a Tactic .25 cal with the Peter’s 2 system silencing mod, 4 magazines, Magual carrying strap and adapter, SWFA 16x scope and bubble level, sports match ATP66 rings, Butler creek scope caps, Atlas bipod, VISM NcSTAR Tactical 36″ caring case, Accu-Shot BT28 AFAR Picatinny Accessory Rail, shit i even order the Omega SC compressor. Never posted a youtube video but may do a review once i get home and settled in. Pictures will surely follow.

Tony: Just wanted to give you post a bump, because i’ve got about 2 weeks left overseas and then back home and i’m ready to buy. How is that Tactic doing? what is you’re feelings (Great gun, same as the vulcan just a little longer)? Right now I’m ready to order 1 or the other in .25 figure i can’t go wrong, but input from someone whom has them both would offer a lot of weight.

I do not like it but to be fair the air arms ftp 900 is the same, i will most likely reshape the rear of the stock to blend into the pad
p.s. it does have a hammer spring adjuster right?
it does indeed exactly the same as the bullbup but hidden by the stock butt, after fettling i put my action in a clamp to put through the chrony then locked off the hammer spring tension by changing the original adjustable plug to a non adjustable plug
Got my supply of .25 JSB’s arrive saturday so will be putting a few thou through it in due course.

Not having access to adjust the hammer spring is a surprise. I hope you get some time to wring it out. Thanks for posting the picture of the But-pad. That’s a let down that it looks like an add-on or after thought.
Tony hope the weather is great this weekend maybe will get to see some of that Tactic in action.

So how’s that Vulcan Tactic treating you?
Given the longer length, additional weight and highly adjustable stock, I would expect that accuracy is much more easily achieve than with the smaller bullpup. Have you found that to be the case?

has it got a vent hole on the valve body? the one with the grubscrew and ball bearing.
