the cal .25 will be more expensive pellet wise over time

I think cal .22 is most economical to power ratio.

I would get both IF I had the money.

I went with the .25 because I have a Cricket in .22

I am going to go with a .25. I want the knock down power and the extra wiggle room for a decent shot versus a perfect shot. I am unhappily willing to give up the shot count and the louder sounds of the .25. But most people here i believe like the .25 over the .22 (those whom don’t have power restrictions).

you cant go wrong, there are not many .177s but even that small calibre is awesome,
there are much more .22s and .25s out there, I have seen some high serial numbers on forums.

from the mechanics/physics point of view, the .25 has the regulator set quite high so you don’t utilize all the air stored in the cylinder, while the other smaller calibers can be shot much lower so many more shots. I think the .22 is the optimum power and shotcount compromise wise. and it takes not much mechanical force/hammer action to knock open the valve so it is not wearing much.

I would get the .22 if you are not after killing some larger beasts. also more choice of ammo/pellets while .25 has only few. but those few do work so not really a problem.

accuracy is awesome. no question about that in either caliber. you must google, there was an air pistol with a barrel bent into a loop it still shot straight, it is the few last inches what matter. it is around 18″ it is long enough

if I had the money i would buy them both. currently stuck with .177, need to grow up hehehe

it is up to you what you want, more power (give up shotcount), .25 will be louder.
there is a new hammer supposed to come out for .25 so maybe that caliber is improving further.

the Vulcan is an upgraded/evolved Cricket I used to hear that so why would you step back?

the Vulcan is very short .25 but that’s good.

I think sniperqty started some comparision video series between some bullpumps watch that.
