Q:

Vulcan .25 ft lbs

Can someone tell me how low the .25 can be turned down, COMFORTABLY. MEANING EASILY! I wouldn’t mind buying a .25 but would like to turning down for backyard use. If the .22 is hooting at 30 ft lbs, can the .25 be turned down near that??? Thanks

Thanks keyser, but as it turns out it won’t be necessary. Found a .22 and it should be here tomorrow.

yes of course it can be detuned. Easy? well I guess that would depend on your skill level tuning regulated PCPs. You cannot detune the Vulcan to that level with just the HST. The regulator pressure setting would have to be lowered. It would be a mistake in my opinion. The gun shoots JSB the best. That means you are stuck with the Kings. So if you detune the .25 the pellet will just be traveling at 729 FPS. Kings really fly best at 880-940 FPS. So I would wait for the .22 get get back in stock.
