A .35 cal is definitely a faux pas at best. Expensive ammo, high air consumption.

Yes, its true Keyser. Cal.30 would be great choice for people who can use it for hunting with still feasible air consumption. CZ UB made many wrong decisions. They were produced famous airgun Slavia 630 for decades… now production is ended 🙄

Octavius, I totally agree. The amount of CCs required to make a 9mm pellet fly makes the 9mm bullpup an unrealistic caliber. The regulator has to be huge with a large reservoir between the spring and valve. This is why most 9mm guns do not push the pellet fast enough to justify the purchase of a 9mm.

CZ UB made wrong decision produce cal.35 instead cal.30 😐

No they will not be CZ barrels. I am trying to work out a review of one when Peter completes the first gun.

I have a Ernest converted and tuned synthetic .30 cricket it started life as a .177
It sports a TJ barrel and shooting JSB 44.75 @ 890fps for 30 full power shots. Very accurate.

quote octavius:

There is one question. Is producing CZ UB barrels for cal.30 ? I´m asking I really do not know.

Good question, Octavius. Evegny over at Airgun Technologies (Vulcan) told me three months ago that CZ were not producing .30 caliber barrels yet and that was why he was not building a Vulcan .30.

It’s in the works I believe according to TGAG peter.

The 30 cal Cricket will be out soon !!!

I don’t think Kalibrgun has made a .30. There was an abortive attempt by an US dealer; they purchased 20 FX smooth twist barrels and were going to install them on the Cricket .25 chassis but their machinist evidently cut the wrong end of the barrel resulting in the prototypes being woefully inaccurate. Then Kalibrgun brought out the much larger and heavier .35 caliber Cricket and there was evidently no interest to repeat the project.

Yes matador is availble in .30 (7.62) and Cricket in .35 (9mm)
