Q:

Spin-Lok Tank & Guage dis and re-assembly

Can anyone help me with my spinlok tank and blown guage? I evidently had a blow-out (plastic bezel on guage), which now reads zero pressure, and the indicator pin is cockeyed now. I contacted Airforce, who is sending me a new guage only. Does anyone out there understand, and know how to replace the guage once I receive it? I do not have a machine shop, but have a couple of tools, like a crescent wrench… Airforce also mentioned something about the new guage coming with teflon tape. Can anyone help me? I paid alot for this thing, and wish I would never sold my original Condor SS with the quick detach tank; it was so simple, including the ability to decock it when need be. Also, does anyone have step-by-step for swapping out the breech seals, or at least lubing them? I never did since I bought it in Nov 2013. Thanks in advance. 🙁

No sweat dude. Check out my youtube channel, onebaddj, i just threw up a video showing how to change the gauge.

Have fun man!

Thank you, again!!! Can’t wait to get our house, and get back into what I was born to do; shoot! I hunt and fish like crazy, but there’s no substitute for a backyard “range.” 💡 😀

Easy bro. Unscrew the old gage throw it away or use it for a target.

The teflon tape is used to make sure you have no air leaks between the threads of the gauge and valve body. Its just a seal. Wrap the teflon tape around the threads and screw the gauge back into the valve. Snug it down and your done. No machine shop needed just 5 minutes in the garage and you one wrench should do the trick. Its super easy.
