Top hat slowing rotating
Hello guys, I’m new to the forum. I wanting to post this question because I have not found a definitive answer.
Is it normal for the Talon SS tophat to slowing rotate CCW when fired? I position the top hat set screws where I can see both of them while looking at the rifles right side. After 40 shots or so, the top hat has rotated CCW and I can now only see one top hat set screw on the right of the rifle. The other can now be see from the left side.
Now this does not seem to be changing my POI after it has rotated that far. I try and move the top hat with my hand and it is not loose. I think the stem of the tophat is spinning inside the hole where it goes. Has anyone else seen this?
Any answers will be greatly appreciated.

make a small mark from which you can align the screw hole and adjust as is necessary. (once tuned to your satisfaction)
the valve stem is very thin and the set screw CAN damage the threads if overly tightened… 😯
