Q:

New to PCP/Condor ss

Hello everyone, first time posting on a AG forum in quite sometime… Probably 7 years ago on the Yellow. Any way I will be using the search function today and this weekend but was hoping for some quick info. I sold some FT airguns and bought a Condor SS in .22 with the Hawke scope. So impressed with the setup! No its not one cock like my TX and the hand pump is killing my back already but man!!! So stinking sweet!! Named him Nasty Nate due to the boulders missing from the masonry block I was shooting yesterday. Love it! Getting to the point, this thing is loud! Is there something I don’t know about the settings, the baffles, top hat, etc that I am missing? Also what would you condor vets recommend to a PCP newbie (other than a bulk tank)? Trying the o-ring mod (not sure of the size or how it should effect the stroke of the top hat) also polished the top hat. I am just craving some info on this thing… I can see how Airforce gets their junkies fix!

Birdman,

Thanks for the heads up. Mine is 100% stock other than the polishing and venom lube I did last night. Playing with barracuda hunters 18gr, jsb jumbos 25 gr and EJ 28gr. I will play with the power setting some more today. Want that sweet spot of stable consistency and long rang power.

Nutriahunter45 , have no idea at what you have your power wheel setting at . I see that you do not have a TT LDC on your set-up and
what grain pellet you are shooting . First set your power wheel setting to six and work your way down to see if you can get a noise
reduction . With the set-up that you posted you will be better off with having a TT 14 ” LDC added to your gun .
