Q:

What does your bullpup setup weigh?

A lot of times things are heavier than expected, the cricket is not very lightweight for its compact design. I wonder what your bullpup setup weighs and with setup I mean all that is on your pup: scope, bipod, if you have magazine holders then all of your magazines as well.

I used the kitchen scale an this is how:

Take your scale

Put something flat on it

Start it up

Balance your pup on it

There you go

My setup is:

.177 Cricket with walnut stock
4 magazines in the holders
Greenbase atlas bipod with original 3,25″ atlas rail
Delta optical titanium 6-24×42 ao with butler creek flip ups
Leupold riflemans high scope rings
Wheeler engineering anti cant indicator

And it weighs aprox 4160g or 4,16kg. That is aprox 9,17 lbs

My scope with butler creek weighs aprox 523g last time I checked

No same Marauder. just could not sell it, Everyone wanted to give me 300 dollars for it,
So I spent 450 dollars to bull pup it with the Rapid stock, Super nice stock, Less then 2 lbs, Makes the Marauder shoulder nice.
But the Rapid trigger for the marauder is wires going back to push on the stock trigger to get it to shoot, :butkick:
Its got to be a 10lb trigger or its not safe,
Really I just need to ask for a refund or exchange for a Cricket rapid stock?
Mike

Is there no way to move the pivot (fulcrum) points to change/lower the push weight ?

yeah i have seen it, its pretty cool! besides the Rapid-70, are there other options? , i mean real options, i saw a few from Octavious, but the sellers seems not very interested on the American market

Huub’s Viking with Leapers SWAT scope = 3326 grams = 117 ounces.

I emailed rapid-70 yesterday, not gotten an awnser yet but I want that stock too. Not for the gun on the pic but for my .22 on the way with synthetic stock. Then a scope of almost a kg on top :confusedn: might be top heavy but I want that scope bad

I installed a rapid stock on my Marauder 25, Its half the weight of my 22 Cricket, Handles very good, The trigger sucks ass,
I think the rapid stock is under 2 LBS, AS far as the Marauder goes it I can not get the trigger working right I am going to sell it,
I can not stand a fuc()*(&* up trigger, This is coming from a guy that is happy with his Crossman 760 trigger….

Mike

Hey Mike,

I though you sold your Marauder long ago or is this a new one ?

Cool Cricket but my scale only goes to 6 lbs max.
The last time I checked I had to take the scope and stock off of the action and weigh them separately, but my Shorty fully loaded weighs in at 120 oz or 7 and a half pounds.

as seen with an exceptions/additions of a side-wheel and level ……..
