Do you sling your Bullpup?
Hello Guys,
Noob checking in. I’ve got my first bullpup on order, a Mutant Standard. When I hunt, I’ll walk (a lot} to the varmints I’m after. Sometimes I have to clear obsticles in the field, and I don’t like the idea of dropping an expensive AG and risking damage or injury.
Any suggestions?

I have two “Claw” slings. I find them to be the most universal and use them on my air guns, crossbow, and powder burners. It takes about a minute to switch from one gun to another.

If you have a weaver rail up front for a bipod then you can attach a QD sling adapter and use a basic one point sling. No extra modification needed, not the best in terms of sling but gets the job done.
However if you are walking in thick brush and climbing over fallen trees then a normal two point sling would suit better :tag:

I’ve used the Magpul quick disconnect system as shown below. The metal sockets are exactly 1/2″ diameter. I put a hole of appropriate depth in the stock with a Forstner bit. The socket is fixed at the bottom with a wood screw and a bit of epoxy.
There’s a socket on the bottom of the grip and also on the bottom of the butt for flexibility in single point or two point carry. It would be better to have pick up points on the top of the gun, but there was no easy way to do this.
