Compact, lightweight, high mag (x20) scope advice
Wanted suggestions please for a compact, lightweight, high variable mag (at least x20) scope, with SF that can parallax down to to 10-15 yards. Budget around $700 or less. Probably doesn’t exist as high mag = heavy, but just wanted some where to start my research and draw up a shortlist.

The delta optical titanium 6-24×42 ao is 500 grams. But it is a standard mildot true at 10x so might not be for you. If you live in Europe you can get it cheap from militaria.pl, i think I paid 270 EUR including shipping to my door with UPS. It is made in japan
thanks for the suggestion of the c-more – its only 34cm (!) and 730g. I wonder whether there is anything else more compact at around the same price point?
SWFA SS20x42 are rather compact, not a bad weight, good optics and well within your budget. It is however rear focus and not side focus. Great little scope. The small objective and rear focus don’t work so well if your planning on focus ranging but most don’t shoot like that anyhow.
Nikko Stirling C more 2-20×44 is a very compact and light for a zoom scope. I have never used that particular model but in general i have had good luck with Nikko products. The Hawke Sidewinder SF 6.5-20×42 is another nice scope for the money though not as compact as the Nikko Stirling. Both have small objectives so again not the best if your planning on using the focus for super fine ranging.
I can’t off hand think of any with large objective and oversized forcus wheels worth it’s salt that you would describe as light or compact.
What are you planning on using it for as it may give us a better idea of the features you require.

I may have to give one of those a go my self. There adjustable objective rather then side focus but for most uses I prefer that anyhow. Nice find
