custom barrel work
I’m considering converting my .22 Talon SS to a .25 caliber slug gun. From what I’ve read on the subject a standard AirForce LW barrel with its 1:17.7 twist rate and choke doesn’t look like the best option; and a 25 acp barrel liner from TJ’s Enterprises is definitely the way to go.
Unfortunately, there are no machinist in my area that I can go to to have the necessary work done to get the barrel into my gun. This is definitely going to be a long distance affair so I’m looking for someone who is familiar with this type of work and is good to work with.
So with that in mind I am turning to the members of this forum in the hopes of getting some leads on where to look, recommendations I guess you could say. Any insight and/or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Roger

Aloha,
I’m located on the island of Maui in Hawaii and I’m interested in the barrel, for sure.
I’m looking for an 18 inch but seeing how you haven’t crowned it yet maybe you could trim it down before you do. Then it would be exactly what I want.
If that’s cool with you drop me a PM and we can work it out.
Mahalo,
Roger
