FX IMPACT 30 Caliber

I had a chance to hold and shoot the FX Impact this past weekend. The gun was rather quiet, shouldered well, had a great shot count and had very good accuracy. It was shooting 880 and the pellets were not weighed so the accuracy might have even been better with sorted pellets. For right hand shooters the cheek rest awesome. Smooth cocking and very nice crisp trigger. The gun is very well made. This was Ernest’s personal gun so there were no issues and according to Mr. Rowe FX has made the necessary adjustments and repairs to the gun. Very nice little gun!

I heard AoA got the new shipment last week and they already have been shipped out.

Sir put down the bottle and back away……

About the same. My buddys Impo shoots exceptionally well with the .30 cal barrel. Little worse with the .22 but i quess it could do better with right ammo (weight) and some trial/error with the settings.
He gets 60 shots / fill at 260 mps , .30 cal.

The Impo starts to grow on me – in black/black – and i no longer see a Super Soaker every time i look at it . :biggrinn:

A friend of mine has one with both .22 & .30 cal barrels. It shoots well , especially with the .30 barrel , set to shoot at at 265 mps . The .22 barrel likes the 18gr ammo at 275-280 mps. I have to admit : It´s actually a pretty fun gun and very comfy to shoot.

My good friend got one when they came out. I had money down for one but backed out and got a Felx instead. I’m glade I did. He loves the gun and has not had any issues with it. I still might get one down the road when you can actaully get them and get mags. The only issue I see is the QD fill location. They need to change that. I got a feeling they are making some changes to the gun because I haven’t really heard of any more showing up after that batch in Dec.
