Q:

Metalmag and Polymag

Does the .22 cricket tend to like these pellets, is it worth a shot or am I wasting my money? If any of you have a cricket .22 that likes the metal/polymags then what is the effective range?

Hemn, put me in you will for your pellets….

That is a lot of pellets. If nothing else maybe you can get ISIS to eat all that lead. 🙂

Holy crap Hemn, you are prepared for the apocalypse

My Cricket will be shooting the 16gr at 905fps, it shoots them good, and the FX 16gr has thicker skirts than JSB, I will be shooting the fx pellets

quote Zonk:

Cricket, I’ve shot most .22 pellets out of my Cricket. NONE shoots as well as 18.1 gr JSBs? Including the ones you’ve mentioned.

my final decision for my .22cal PCPs are only 18.1gr ,,, which i own about 320 tins or more maybe ,,i didn’t counted well,,,this is just guess ,,but sure not less than 320 tins

for my .25cal PCPs only 25.39gr … which i own not less than 190 tins …

about 10 to 20 tins of different brands …

I never had much luck with 22 poly’s. 25s shoot well.

i have ploymag, and if i wanted to buy more, i could, my Matadors can shoot Polymag, no problem to put in the mags, but i don’t like them,,,they are very thin skirts, and i own so many other brands,,, i didn’t shot one even since i got my JSBs and Edgun pellets …

for me the best suitable pellets are 18.13gr JSB … don’t waste money and time,,, just my :2cents:
