Casting
I have been saving the lead from my pellet traps for several years. I now want to cast some airgun bullets. I would like .22 but have not heard much about .22 Airgun bullets. I have cast 22 for PB but that is a different game than an airgun. I have thought about 25 cal but have not found much info on casting for them either. Any suggestions appreciated

I have gotten into casting bullets since August 2015 and it’s a meditative hobby especially when you get into bigbores. You may need to invest in many things like a melting pot, various molds and sizer. Make sure you use good quality lead or scoop out the extra heavy metals that make bullets get too hard. I had alot of learning experiences from casting bullets that got jammed in my Texan.
I must admit that it’s a great investment to learn how to cast bullets especially when you do many types of testing with bigbore airguns. My Texan loves 405 grain bullets vs 220 or 294 .457 at long distances.

I would love to get some of the molds off this site especially the ones that make JSB type pellets for 9mm

There’s one that does .22 50 grain bullets. Make sure you get a good valve if you are going to shoot these bullet’s in your airforce rifles.
