I just made my 55th birthday this April and we (the wife and I, and our financial adviser) decided that I’d needed to retired from my day job and start collecting that pension.
I’m officially retired as of Friday the 3rd of this month and I have been so very busy with everything that was left behind from procrastinating over the years …… and have been shooting all my pups everyday ……. and …….. night since. :fishinghole:

Hi all, I’m seeing new posts but I don’t seem to able to see all the posts that I used to. For example in the for “sale section” there’s only three posts with the oldest being 6th June. Dyotat is a great guy, did the same for me, though mine’s a .25 pellet/slug switch-hitter.

I will be ordering a new mold and will pickup casting again but dyotat100 is going the extra mile and providing samples as well as making an appropriate sizer for it.

Spent my Vulcan kitty on a newer 16 channel 10 camera,1080p security system. At least it could all run on 12 VDC.

Been fighting the survival problems of getting old ❗
Been accumulating long term storable foods, putting together a couple BugOut bags, bought a 4 seasons tent etc etc Yeah I still have the mini motorhome but how far could it go if the SHTF ❓ Along with this fast approaching historically every 400 year Mini Ice Age, and an out of control corrupt gov. What else would any intelligent person do. MAYBE WAIT ON A HANDOUT FROM BERNIE OR HELLairy ❓ That’s what the younger generations are counting on ❗
I’m prepared to shelter in place but live to close to a major highway so have bugout plans including on foot with my rickshaw of essentials if all electronics fail.
I’m thinking about adding a 25 tactical to my stable of airguns. But my deer cart-rickshaw only has a 500 lb. capacity. :whistle:

Congrats Greg, what a great feeling it is being retired. I was really hoping you’d continue to work for another 10 years or so so that you’d pay a little more into Social Security. :rofl:
