Q:

where to get barrel that works with the .30 JSB ?

been focusing on RC cars and racing quads a lot, but here the other day i cleared my property of a tree, and i got 20 feet in return, i instantly grabbed the 410 carbine and the talon ss, they are quiet, very quiet hint hint….and shot some 30′ that wasnt enough of a challenge so went to a different angle and shot 30y, then another angle 48y and finally i had my challenge….and then the machinist in me came to the surface.

i wanna make a .30 talon SS fully shrouded within the frame….but where do i get a barrel, i have been out of airgunning for so long i have lost touch…fuck i didnt know jsb made a .30 pellet up until yesterday when i went through wingmans post (man that pistol is sexy, if he took orders i would have a check on his way)

anyhow what barrel works with .30 jsb ? i gotta see if i can get 90 fpe out of an SS

Maybe a PM for Doug will work for you.

Add another lost soul hijack to this thread! Hello everyone!!! 2016 almost over as we head into the holidays !!! OMGosh! Missed everyone throughout this last year. Been working my ass off, and rarely much fun stuff.
To steer my post back onto the subject of sorts, Doug, you mentioned going to the .357 this year? Somonelse mentioned .357 too?
Which TJ’s do you reccomend for the .357 ?
I notice that many of the production airgun companies list .357/9mm under the same banner.
Is the nominal dia. the same for 357 vs that of 9mm? At least within that of the pellet projectile domain? Maybe the dia close enough for production but perhaps a sizer is in order when utilizing the same pellet that is being sold for 9mm/357?
You are shooting .357 pellets and not cast?
What twist barrel, nominal dia, and what type and dia. projectile?
Very interested in learning what is the current and best working flavor or formula!

just stalking….mostly….bay area sucks for airguns, let alone hunting within 4hr drive….

Howdy You two lost souls. I’ve been missing as well. Good to be back though!

I still have a shorty 357 project, I think they shoot better then the 30’s.

You want a TJ .30 pellet barrel. 1-26 twist .294″-.300″.

TJ Enterprises 859-635-5560 Mike Sayers

They shoot best 880-900 fps.

I have a .30 condor setup on a reg. Reg is set at 1600 psi and it’s right at 900 fps with 45 gr. I’m running a 30″ barrel. If I made a larger reg chamber I could run it on 1400 psi. 1800 psi with no reg is 1000 fps.

It is real accurate. I shot it at EBR last year. 75 yds for the 2 qualifiers and 100 yds for the final. Ended up 15th. Nothing like shooting in 20 mph winds that are swirling.
Going to try .357 for this year.
