Q:

One inch groups at 100 yards

with an airgun??? And not just any airgun – a short/compact bullpup.

I would love to get everyone’s opinion about this. We are talking five shot groups at 100 yards with a compact bullpup- CONSISTANTLY.

I am a pretty good shot and attended most of the major airgun matches. No one has posted scores at 75 yards that would indicate that kind of shooting.

Your thoughts???

Three sub 1″ groups at 100Y in a row with my BSA Scorpion. The gun used to be a front loading bullpup but I put it back to rifle stock for BR. So yes, it’s doable.

Get some flags and a sighter target… Shoot the sighter until the wind is favorable then machine gun your group target. After some practice you’ll not need the flags or sighter paper :5:

With a good batch .22’s I have been shooting 1.25″ ctc groops or less during a match.
That is 6 * 5 shots at 100 meter.
Normaly groops vary from 2 to 5 cm ctc.
My record still is 11mm ctc during a match.

Yeah, not much luck for me at that distance yet. Not shot a lot though. Right now it is raining and has been all day 🙁

My Mutant Shorty did 1.25-1.5″ groups @ 100 yards the last time I checked, but I’ll pick a day that’s not windy and shoot early in the morning.

But in competition u’re not at liberty to pick the day ……. .. . :winkn:

Nice to see u here Steve and I/we look forward to all your posts Sir.
