Q:

Why do I bother to buy new guns???

Ok so today I decided to take a few random shots but only had a choice to use Flex 30 or a 357 Rainstorm because for one they had scopes mounted. I wanted to be stealthy so the 357 was no brainer no go and 30 cal to much hitting power. With the Impact in the case to be sent back (not that I can shoot it anyways not up to par these days) So there lies my 22 and 25 crickets collecting dust lately so I picked my 22 slapped on the LCD and my Vortex HD Razor scope and BOOM one shot I found my hold on the reticle.

Damn it!! Those two guns have alway been on and free handing 10 shots I smacked everything!!! :biggrinn:

So why do we dumb butts buy other guns when we have gush darn shooters collecting dust in our vaults/cabinets and or hanging on the wall?

I’ll tell you why:

The 👿 😈 DEVIL I say the devil 😈 👿 whispering no good ideas in my head! So easy I am drawn to the dark side and wasting cash! :butkick:

Buy a custom stock instead, or a new scope

Nothing a new gun can do that an old gun can’t. But it might look different.

Why do you need multiple guns? Depends…
1. have one working should another need repair.
2. different calibers for different uses.
3. To have what you want before they become restricted/regulated, especially with regards to moderators/silencers. You know it’s just a matter of time before some idiot(s)* ruin our freedom in this regard.

*Idiot as in someone doing something stupid to draw attention to these relatively new, unregulated air guns.

Then there’s the collectable consideration. I’m totally glad to have purchased the old, Cricket walnut skeleton stock .25, even with two other .25s.

Oh, and to answer the original OP question, you’re a sadistic Airgun whore that needs a freaking fix. Yeah, that’s why you need new guns. I’m an airgun whore too. I need more! Lol

I’ll throw in my 2 cents worth…

I’ve got a couple tins of AirArms Diablo Field 25.4gn pellets that are shooting a little better in my Vulcan than the JSB Exact King 25.39gn pellets. The AA pellets have fewer flyers for some reason. Whatever the case, I’m liking the AA Diablo Fields and they are made by JSB.

Nice

I found the AA 10.3 to be a bit more accurate compared to JSB 10.3 in both my .177 Crickets. This weekend I am going to measure a full tin of each to compare head sizes. Both Crickets like the 4.47, .4.48 and 4.49 pellets best so my thinking is AA 10.3 have more smaller heads pellets per tin compared to JSB 10.3 .

I wish FX made 18gr, they are almost the same price as jsb in sweden yet much better quality (skirts not damaged etc)

Thanks Hemn and Cricket. I always knew that FX and Air Arms pellets were re-branded JSBs. I just thought that Edgun pellets could be another one made by JSB as well because I’ve never actually seen and held them.

The 16gr FX are way better quality than 18gr JSB. At least my tins

Brother Spinj,

all Edgun pellets are made by JSB, but as per the quality and Eduards claim, …

all other pellets that Cricket mentioned, all made by JSB … but depends of the manufacturers quality and specification…

I’m the odd one out; I hunt for pellets. I need as much of them as I can get to fuel my shooting adventures. :winkn:

I advise you to try to order some Edgun pellets (which they are same JSBs but they are made better quality for sure)….

Hemn, at the moment the JSB Exacts (14.3, 15.9, and 18 grains) are shooting great in all my rifles. Hopefully I can try the Edgun pellets in the future. Are they made by JSB?

I spend more on pellets than on airguns or scopes. If I were to calculate how much I spend on pellets in only half a year it would equal to about the price of a Vulcan, Cricket, or Mutant. 😀
