Compressor question?
For you that use a compressor to fill your tanks…
After a 5-10 minute run on your compressor is it common to get a good bit of oil to come out of your separator/water trap when releasing the valve to clean it out?
I figure there would be more water and less oil residue.

I have the same Daystate and the 1st time I filled it had oil in separator/water trap. The next time very little. The 3rd time almost none. I am no pro but check your oil level. Mine was filled to the top line, after the 1st fill the oil level went down between the 1st and 2nd line.
Did you hear blow back during the fill? I did the 1st time but not since. I think the blow back was from too much oil. I also make sure the oil cap is on tight. Should have been threaded.
The green color or hell the any color except yellow is throwing me on this. I put yellowish colored oil they supplied with the compressor in it and I have no more than 2 hours in run time on it. The more I think about this anything coming out this very distinct color has me little worried.
Damn it I don’t want to have this thing shipped 2000 miles to be serviced!
i have the one that you guys call it Omega Compressor, but never noticed this,,, all i do is releasing the air after 10 mnts…

I have a Bauer Jr., a very well-made compressor. There sometimes is a little oil from the primary separator. Further filtration should prevent any crud from getting into the final output.
