Turned out to be a great weekend!!
Hello fellow shooters…
New to the forum and new too AirFoce guns.
I was a little disappointed when I got the tracking results for my Talon SS order which said it wouldn’t be delivered until Tuesday May 10th when I placed the order on Monday May 2nd.
Then my disappointment turned into excitement when I got the notification that my shipment would arrive Saturday!
It arrived and I finally got it all dressed up.
I have the .22 barrel in now but also got the .25 and the .177 along with the SoundLoc system for .177. I’m going to be off work for a few weeks recovering from back surgery and got the okay from the doc to shoot light weight co2 and pcp guns so I’ll get a chance to try them out. Laser is sighted in at 10 yards and the flash light does the job, although, it could be a bit brighter. The Hawke Sport 4-12-50 Illuminated scopes is very nice which came as a combo with the gun from Airgun Depot.
Haven’t shot it much maybe 50 times but I tried three different pellets from 10 & 20 yards and they all pretty much went in the same hole. This gun is so freaking nice I’m already in love with this baby!! I’m borrowing my friends fill tank which is a Scott 45 minute tank and will only fill it up to 2500psi which is plenty to shoot it but it will be nice to get a full fill. I’ll have to get the Scott tank filled as I’m pretty sure my friend has filled his Talon up to 3000psi with it.
I watched the Tom Gaylord video on the Talon SS and he used Divers Silicon on the valve and top of the barrel through the cocking slot. He also used break free to oil his pellets which he recommends doing. Does anyone else do these things? What is a good Divers Silicon?? Do I have to use Divers Silicon or can I get something from a local big box store or maybe a boating shop???
I tried attaching a picture but got this error Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached. I only have one picture attached and the size is only 56kb.
