Short Mutant Stock Picture From Michal/Poland
First pictures just arrived of my stock. He needs to put the butt plate on tomorrow. What do you think? It sure looks like our black walnut here in Missouri but Michal says it is Italian walnut. It’s just a couple of minor tweaks different than Foxback’s.

Looks good, told u guys he does great work.
The stock maker is MichaΕ Osyda <michal.osyda@gmail.com> in Poland. He will take a while to respond to emails. Just ask him the current cost because it depends on the wood he can get and shipping. The Walnut I got is an upgrade over the standard walnut stock (he said it was the best he could get at the moment). It will vary by what he has to pay for the wood. You might be able to wait longer to have him buy other even fancier wood but the blanks can easily run $300-400 or more USD. My entire order took about one month with expedited shipping. I imagine it could easily take twice as long if he has a lot going on and you pick slow shipping to save $$$. You can pretty well within reason have him do whatever you want but make sure the stock will be functional IMO and it sometimes isn’t obvious what a change may do when you try to use it.
A few have already jumped in on orders that PM’d me so there may be a waiting list. π
thanks Secoda.

That’s the freebie Aeon 10-40 I got from WAGG a few years ago when I got my Compact Cricket. I had it on the shelf but it is turning out to be a great combo for the way I shoot. It is nearly as clear as my way overpriced NightForce 8-32 with both on 32x. It has a nice trajectory reticle. Its a bit on the heavy side but I never shoot offhand anyways so that doesn’t matter to me. I have it set on 36x. lol I like to see their whiskers. It was better in low light than I expected. I think they are something like $315. The wheel was a bit extra.
thank you,
Darryl
Wow! Nice wood! What are the details like cost and lead time? Does he make them for standards?
SeCoda, about your scope, what is it?
thank you,
Darryl
Amazing and beautiful…
Pardon my French, but that looks fucking great! :suprisedn: very nice inlett too
Secoda, that’s one fine piece of wood (for a great-shooting gun). I think it will awaken a movement for more such stocks for the Mutant. Congrats!

No POI shift whatsoever. The first shot with the new stock hit the 1/4″ orange dot at 50 yards. We have a winner. :8:
Now at the pesting station for first blood. π
I don’t think I will drag a stock of this caliber :biggrinn: in the woods to get scratched up. The grip is heaven for my sized hand. :smilen: The stock is lighter than I expected. Given how small they are – I would not remove any more wood. I was thinking that one could add maybe a single rib at the same angle as the grip about half way back in the opening like the Cricket skeleton but it would interfere with using the grip (hit the side of your forearm). Someone thought this shape out to still function. This stock is shorter in back than a Cricket skeleton.

Wow that is sweeeeet, let us know how the inletting fit your action and post up more pics. Very very nice Congrats!

Yes he does. A Steve Corcoran stock might be good as well but they are now about $700 now for basic walnut and take forever. That grip fits my medium large hand perfectly.
