springer rest?
So, the conventional hold includes the open palm as the front rest. Has anyone found another, accurate way to rest the front, besides one’s hand?
There must be some kind of material, e.g. gel, or bag of water, etc. that would provide a more consistent poi. Perhaps even some sort of vibration-dampening glove?

That is likely the true secret of the sproingers. Do it the same way every time and you will likely get the same results every time.
Now as for the cheapo uber magnum sproingers, all bets are off.
Agree on all points. Of note also is that some springers tend to prefer a different type of rest or even hold. This is not brand specific as I’ve had some of the same brand and caliber to react differently. Shooting a springer is akin to pellet selection in that you have to find what works for you and perfect that… consistency is key.
