Hammer weight on a standard tank
I am just wondering if I add a Condor hammer weight to my Talon SS in .22 Would it increase my Ft lbs. (FT per Sec.) or just waste air faster?

I have tried this on my 22 Talon SS but I did the basic valve mod that should still be posted in I think it was the FAQ section with a title something like how to get your talon valve to open with a 3K fill? Anyway, I followed the instructions, basically just opening the stem up a little bit, then the inlet holes, and polishing all the stem bits to a mirror, then dropped a Condor weight in just to be sure. I personally did not get tank dump, but that doesn’t mean you won’t. I was willing to tear into the gun multiple times if needed, but ultimately found the stock hammer and a fill around 2800 worked best. Had that newbie thirst to see how far I could push that rifle before buying a second and dropping the High Flow tank, R&L Condor valve and 25 cal 18″ barrel. The 22 wears an 18″ barrel now with a TT Shroud, the stock tank with the slightly modded valve and runs slick as can be. 5 shot groups at 30 yards are about half the size of a dime, and will still pass completely through a tree rats head all the way out to 60-70 yards. I actually stopped shooting tree rats with the 25 it was just way more than I needed, but it will smack the snot out of a yote!

P.S. Plus you will save a ton of air, the 22 with the extra weight and 3K fill would eat up a fill in maybe 20 shots.
